Since childhood numbers have been my cup of tea. Mathematics and statistics were my favourite subjects in school. In 2009, I completed secondary education from Central Broad of Secondary Education (CBSE a prestige broad of education) with 90.6% and in 2011, I completed my senior secondary education from CBSE with 80.6% my core subjects being Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies and English. I was offered a scholarship for my senior secondary education by my school (DAV Public School) for excellent performance in my secondary education exams. My keen interest in the numbers influenced me to gain more knowledge of the field. In 2011, at the age of 18, I moved to a metro city (Noida) to complete my higher studies and to experience the world of professionalism. I completed my dual degree in Actuarial Science in the year 2016. Actuarial Science itself is a course which requires a lot of analytical skills and a good understanding of mathematics and statistics. In college, we were taught analytical software like SPSS, SAS and R which developed my interest in the analytical field. In 2016, after completion of my degree, my interest in the analytical field motivated me to accept the job offer in Risk Management Solution Private Ltd. as a Risk Analyst in the analytical service department. My job helped me to gain good experience in data and its analysis. I learned Structured Query Language (SQL), the importance of data, data management, data analysis and data scrubbing at my job. At my workplace, I acquired the skill of project management and trained new people in my project. I directly liaised with the client ''AON" and was responsible for analysing their data. Besides this, I have been awarded “Individual Excellence Award” in my company for my commitment towards the work. Currently, I am pursuing my passion for numbers by undertaking the degree in Data Analytics from Deakin University.
I am working as a data intern in Nexright. In this internship, I am developing skills in machine learning and working on a data science project.
