As a recent graduate from the University of Melbourne, I pursued majors in both Economics and Finance due to my passion in sports economics and how it relates to the financial side in the sporting world. it helped me to understand how everything cannot be simplified onto a stat sheet, it has to be balanced with context and justification. I am currently an accounts receivables officer with Synnex as I gain experience about the ins and outs of the professional world
In 2017, I was awarded with the Melbourne Global Scholars Award for my participation in the University of Melbourne's Global Management Consulting Program to Shanghai, China. I was part of a team of student consultants that were assigned to a construction firm. The task was to perform an internal audit and create a process map on an internal process and come up with solutions to make it more efficient. It has given me an experience of working in high pressure situations and to learn new concepts and ideas on the fly.
Having coached as a volunteer with VicFlick and part time with high school students and growing into a leadership role with Melbourne University Ultimate, I enjoyed throwing ideas around to plan programs to further develop the club and its members. I spearheaded the Social League for Melbourne University Ultimate as a way to increase the competitive spirit within the club. As secretary I also came up with the sponsorship proposal for the club and set up an email account to act as a point of contact. I was also the team manager for the club's Australian University Games team last year where the team finished 5th.
