Biotechnology engineer and scientific researcher, experienced in management of data for business decision making, controlled experiments and composition of research manuscripts. Proficient in a myriad of tools for data management and processing including SPSS, Microsoft Access, QPS MR, SQL, and R/R Studio. Sound understating of the principles and applications of phytochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, genomics and bioinformatics.
I have managed relational databases for a healthcare data collection company, where I emphasised in maintaining data integrity, producing high quality deliverables and documenting internal procedures, safeguarding important information that could be advantageous in future negotiations with stakeholders.
I am currently pursuing a career in technology transfer and I am committed to support social development, which I have demonstrated by engaging in community and voluntary activities with a variety of public agendas.
Education February 2018 - Now -Master in Biotechnology Management La Trobe University (Anticipated completion date: Feb 2020) • I selected this program to build a career in technology transfer, where I will be able to transform scientific research results into solutions available to everyone. • Awarded the La Trobe College Excellence Scholarship. • Granted the CONACYT - SENER (Mexican National Council for Science and Technology - Secretariat of Energy) Sustainable Energy Scholarship.
August 2011 - October 2016 -Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology Engineering Universidad Popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) • Developed a research project to study some biological activities of the chloroform extract from bulbs of Sprekelia formosissima (L.) Herbert, a folklore medicinal plant used in Mexico. • Composed a scientific paper outlining the suitability of such extract to be employed as an alternative insecticide and herbicide.
Data Management Employment April 2017 - January 2018 -Data Processor, SERMO Puebla, Mexico •SERMO was the kick starter of my professional career. Working in one of the largest worldwide healthcare data collection companies, I excelled in managing research databases through relational database systems and acquired sound project management and organisation skills to cope with heavy workloads and tight timelines on independent and teamwork projects, which allowed me to deliver the highest quality, unbiased data for world leading pharmaceutical and medical device marketing research agencies.

21 - 30 July 2018 -International Student Host, La Trobe University Melbourne •By taking part in this role I helped to create a vibrant host program that supported newly arrived international students and introduced them to new people, La Trobe University and the City of Melbourne.
15 March 2018 - Now -Community Campaigner, The Wilderness Society Victoria Melbourne • Joined the Movement for Life community organising program to protect, promote and restore Wilderness across Australia. I expanded my teamwork, persuasion and relational organising skills by having hands on experience with campaign planning.
3 - 17 May 2018 -Virtual Reality & Game Play Room Coordinator, Human Rights Arts & Film Festival Melbourne • Collaborated with the HRAFF crew to stimulate young people to understand more about human rights and how they can do more to make a difference as a global citizens, and contributed to increase the youth for human rights summit attendance by 25%, receiving amazing feedback from participants.
