Hi.How are you? Hope all is good. My name is Romit and I am a student in the University of Melbourne. I am studying Commerce, and majoring in marketing. I am 23 years old, and I have had significant related experience to this specific field. I am extremely passionate in Marketing (research too) and PR, and thus am interested in working for your Innovation research project as I enjoy working in such dynamic, active environments.A little about myself: I have worked as a brand-ambassador for multiple brands including Moet and Chandon, Hendricks Gin, etc. over a couple of years now. I love working with people, and I find the exuberance of a creative atmosphere absolutely addicting. It certainly does not feel like work for me. Moreover, prior to university, I was a full-time model and have worked throughout the world, being based in New York, Singapore, India and few regions within the SEA region (Thailand, Vietnam, etc). The world of fashion has exposed me to the dynamic nature of both brand ambassadorial work, as well as public relations. I have done worked with different brands, both as an ambassador, and done fashion editorials too. I would love to channel my passion, and experience from the world of fashion into something linked, yet different - and this opportunity is perfect. This job will be great for me to utilise my international experiences, and communication skills into such hands on research.
I have been the head of marketing in my high-school, and taken up numerous leadership positions. I've worked in Abercrombie and fitch (sales) and also ran a dance-fitness studio in Singapore, introducing "Bumba", a fusion of Bollywood and Zumba. Moreover, I also studied Psychology as another undergraduate degree in University College London (UCL), and find such relevant study key for this project. Hence, working with people and being creative is definitely something I can confidently say is second-nature to me. Such an opportunity would be ideal, hope to hear back. Have a great day.
