I completed a Batchelor Degree in Media and Communications at the Australian Catholic University and since day one my passion for videography and video production has grown. I’m constantly with a camera in hand creating new and innovative content for personal projects or freelance endeavours. My broad knowledge of all things video is constantly growing as I journey through new styles, genre and technique. I’m willing and eager to learn at any opportunity. With 4 years of experience using FCPX for a range of different projects and jobs I’m more than comfortable behind the camera and in the editing booth. I have a broad knowledge of Apple Motions and Adobe Suite also.
My past experience in corporate style video productions is extensive. An internship I competed at Diabetes Victoria under the Media and Communications team quickly turned into paid freelance work and has been a regular occurrence. I’m always looking to learn more in every aspect of videography and video production and I think it would be highly valuable and rewarding working alongside people with a deep knowledge of the industry. I’m always looking to take my knowledge to the next level, combining my love for video and my kinaesthetic style of learning.
Over the years I have worked in many different industries, from hospitality to retail and customer service, swim teaching and even lift operating at the snow. Through my experiences I believe I have gained skills and knowledge others couldn’t dream of. My biggest attributes would be my people skills and courteous nature. I understand that in this industry dealing with clients, colleagues and people plays a key role. I am a problem solver and never afraid to ask for help when needed.
I believe my positive outlook on life, confidence, willingness to learn, punctuality and no ‘I’ in team attitude would be an asset to any workplace. I could be the star your looking for.
