Hi there! My name is Jessica Kearney.
I have a Bachelor of Communications, majoring in journalism, from RMIT in Melbourne.
I am passionate about writing and the ability it has to engage, inspire and unite people.
I am currently working casually in social media management and content creation for a health organisation.

• For Goodness Sake Online, contributing writer (June 2016- December 2016) Wrote editorial content for For Goodness Sake, an online platform that was aimed at girls and younger women on a broad range of topics. It included lifestyle pieces on food, health (mental and physical), Melbourne, travel and life skills and positivity.
• Copywriter, Live Below the Line Campaign, Oaktree (September- December 2015)  Created communications framework, content and layout for the fundraising booklet for Live Below the Line and a web page celebrating past participants. It involved interviewing talent, collating and writing their stories, tips and recipes.
• Media assistant, Gallipoli Cruise 2015 (March 2015)  Assisted with film, sound and lighting equipment, filming, making a daily newspaper about news from home (Australia).
• Retail assistant, Spoilt Gift and Homewares Gift Shop (December 2013 – November 2017)  Retail assistant working two to three days a week.
