About Bethany

With an honours degree in Communication, plus a work ethic demonstrated by extensive extra-curricular activities; career ambitions are to enhance my professional skills in a stable and dynamic workplace.
After completing administration and content creation work experience for two fashion businesses, I chose to do further study and am currently studying a Bachelors of Design, majoring in Fashion, with the hopes of working in the design industry.
I also have experience, education and enjoy working in the event management sector, in particular fashion, weddings, and other cultural events.
EDUCATION
BACHELOR OF COMMUNICATION (HONOURS), UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND (Dec 2017)
Major: Public Relations Minor: Event Management This degree has given me an understanding and knowledge of the communication process. I have acquired skills in visual, written, multimedia, spoken and interpersonal communication. My Public Relations major has taught me the importance of managing stakeholder relationships and reputation and how to acquire and analyze public opinion. While event operations and logistics, risk management, event marketing and human resource management has been explored in my minor. After graduating with a GPA of 6.3 in 2016, I was one of four students to complete an Honours year in 2017. During that year I produced a substantial research project that was independently planned and researched. Not only did that year improve my time-management and critical analysis skills but it also helped advance my research skills.
