About Tatiana
Final semester of BSc at Monash University, majoring in genetics, minoring in molecular biology and nerding out over CRISPR every other day. Champion of women in STEM, interdisciplinary research and discussing the ethics of genome editing after a couple of beers.
The most exciting project I am working on at the moment is measuring Drosophila fitness through longevity assays with researchers at the Experimental Evolutionary Biology Lab in Clayton.
The most rewarding position I have held is volunteering for the Australian Red Cross, where I have met some of the most generous, kindhearted people that are a pleasure to work with each week.
The biggest challenge I have taken on this year is organising the 2018 return of the Monash Future Thinkers Conference. The task is huge, but the MFT team are an incredibly motivated, intelligent group and it is thrilling to work alongside the game changers of tomorrow.
