My primary Objective is to raise the standard of living for the people in Africa, create awareness on social, political and economic issues whilst easing human suffering and maintaining human dignity. I know with my experience, education, and motivation to succeed will only make me an asset to your organization.
I have work experience with Red Cross Kenya combined with my Bachelors degree in International Relations, at the United States International University with a core unit in international law. At Red Cross I was involved in the development of funding proposals, and implementation of program activities. My experience at Red Cross revolved primarily around governance and the promotion of international humanitarian law.
I am passionate about governance in Kenya and would like to explore new ways of addressing governance, and civic participation deficits in the country. I feel that an internship program will allow me the opportunity to further my skills in making our society a just and equitable one.
