Hey there! I'm Tayla, and I'm a Biomedical Science student, an amateur artist and a passionate volunteer. I value teamwork, communication and tenacity and believe anything can be achieved with the right attitude.
Education Currently, I am completing my Bachelor in Biomedical Science at Deakin University, majoring in Medical Biotechnology and my Certificate IV in Leadership & Management, both of which I am thoroughly enjoying. My previous education includes:

07/2018 - present Working with diagnostic and clinical equipment to identify and characterise bacteriophage effectiveness with both environmental and clinical strains of the pathogenic genera Serratia and Enterobacter.

Work Experience My work experiences have primarily been in food and customer service roles, which has given me the appreciation for teamwork and perseverance I have. It also allowed me to have an early respect for aseptic technique and reducing cross contamination that now follows me into my work in microbiology.
