For me, design is not always about the physical thing. It is about a feeling, an emotion, a connection that an object or service can provide to a consumer. Throughout my 3.5 years studying Industrial Design at RMIT, I have discovered that the feeling I love designing is curiosity. That moment where someone does a double take and asks themselves "what is that?" and is immediately invited to explore and understand the thing brings me the most joy.
I am an avid learner, eager to take on new challenges with a positive outlook. With a diverse range of skills, from 3D modelling, creative problem solving, research, graphic design and prototyping I am equipped to tackle a vast multitude of tasks. Alongside my design knowledge I have 7 years retail experience and knowledge in warehousing logistics which have developed my leadership and sales expertise.
Currently completing my honours year, my final project is situated within the sustainable scene, focusing on food waste in particular. I am creating a series of vessels made from lettuce waste that is not only compostable, but mesmerisingly beautiful. Curious?
