I have always had an avid interest in the world of finance. The ways in which companies can operate their finances so differently while still being significant competitors has always piqued my interest. I pursued this passion by studying a dual degree in Business and Commerce majoring in Accounting and Management. My goal is to enter the skilled workforce to improve myself personally and professionally. Obtaining a job in such a field means that I can readily transfer my skills and knowledge to best aid the company. I work best when I am challenged and believe that constant improvement is a necessity to remain in the industry. While studying, I undertook part time roles to understand the inner workings of businesses. These experiences taught me the importance of engaging positively in a team environment and the benefits of leading from the front. The objective for my professional career is to become a qualified accountant. Upon achieving this objective, I plan on furthering my professional development through acquiring my CA accreditation.
