About Wei-Hsiang
I am a student at the University of South Australia (UniSA) completing a bachelor degree in information technology looking for final-year and graduate employment.
I am a very self-motivated and passionate person who work well in teams. During my study, particularly in my game development courses, I always put extra effort into projects, simply due to my passion for game development. For example, one course required us to develop a computer game using Unreal Engine 4. I went above and beyond, sourcing resources from various cultural background artists and libraries in different languages, watching tutorials on how to implement systems, designing story and the user interface and teaching team members how to use Blueprints. Ultimately the course coordinator brought the game to AVCon ( an animation and video game convention in Adelaide) to promote University's game design courses.
At the moment I am working on a virtual reality (VR) project with another student as a Project Manager and Assistant Developer. This project aims to develop a VR application using Unity and Steam VR that visualises the capabilities and operation of UniSA's physical vapor deposition coating technologies.
