About Samuel

Hi my name is Sam and I have recently graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Commerce. I desire to use my skills and experiences from my double degree to garner and maintain relationships, both client and colleague, as part of a professional team. In my career I hope to achieve high professional and ethical standards, with a strong client focus.
I have a keen interest in making a positive and tangible impact to the community around me, and this is shown through my continual community involvement. Amongst other activities, I have represented Griffith University in Gold Coast marathon events, were our team has raised over $15,000 annually to charity.
Throughout my university study, I have been actively involved in student societies. In 2015, I was Vice President Finance and Sponsorship for Griffith University Law Society (GULS). In this role I was responsible for all finance related matters concerning GULS. This included organising sponsorship agreements with firms, and preparing our annual budget.
Currently, I am working as a Client Service Officer at Griffith University. In this position I have developed highly transferrable skills regarding the need to be continually adaptable to your clients’ expectations. Furthermore, I was recently recognised by Griffith University for my strong communication skills with both colleagues and clients.
I have enhanced my ability to effectively research and solve problems by completing undergraduate studies in law. Last year, I received the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence and the highest mark for Workplace Law.
I believe that my extracurricular, professional and academic experience forms a solid basis in order for me to continue developing existing skills, whilst launching my professional career.
