I am a motivated student finishing this semester my Bachelor of Business - International (Public Relations) at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with an included and completed Bachelor of Business Administration (International Business) from BI Norwegian Business School, which was gained through a year exchange.
Throughout the year overseas in Norway, I overcame many challenges and thrived living in a different country by the end of the year. In Norway, I was selected to take part in the Mayor’s assembly to discuss and bring forth innovative ideas on how to make Oslo an even better city for international talent. Whilst throughout my studies at BI, I also took an elective class in Innovation Strategy and Technological Change to develop my studies in one of this day and age’s key driver of company decisions.
Throughout my time in high school I was a part of my high schools’ annual Australian Business Week (ABW) team, which entailed stepping into management roles, coming up with a product/service/process, completing case studies, making environmental and ethical decisions, marketing it, giving an oral presentation to stakeholders all whilst competing against other teams. In 2013, out team came second out of the nine competing schools in the Brisbane area, which was the highest ranking that our school had gotten prior. I’m a hardworking, determined, prompt individual with cultural intelligence (CQ) training and since coming back from abroad I am putting these skills into action by working as a volunteer exchange ambassador at QUT to motivate and help students go on exchange during their time in university.
I view challenges as a part of everyday life and I am ready to take on anything that comes my way. I am an adaptable, prompt person with drive who will stop at nothing to push myself further to create the best possible work that I can offer with the skills that I have learnt throughout my degree.
