Hi Im Diana El-Alam, I am a third year Finance student. I have a high work ethic and high attention to detail. I am passionate about helping customers and enjoy analytical problem solving.
My work experience with Alarm Arnold exposed me to the accounting industry and developed my quantitative skills. I am highly numerate and have first class analytical skills. My previous work experience at The Australian Youth Theatre for Young People involved utilising marketing strategies to increase consumer tickets.
My work experience at Multiforte Financial Services exposed me to fast paced environments where I had to use my initiative and make quick decisions. I am highly motivated, results-orientated and a good team player. The achievement of obtaining the bronze Duke of Edinburgh award, developed my confidence and strong leadership.
In my university studies I have used innovative solutions for assignments. An example of this was in a Marketing subject where the assignment was to choose a small business. I chose my small business as the university bar and the solution to increasing customers was to create a phone app that showed free deals such as pizza and drinks. The information for this app would be distributed during orientation week for first year students. Thus increasing customers.
My extra Curricular activities include: -My volunteering at St Vincent De Paul Society’s store which involved working with various people and interacting with customers. It was a keystone in building my adaptability, flexibility and values of commitment.
-Toastmasters; which involves going to meetings every week to develop my public speaking skills.
