About Daisy
In all that I do, I advocate for bringing people together, no matter their identity. I believe in breaking down barriers through encouraging open dialogue and being receptive to new ideas.
As a UX designer, I have a desire to turn what I learn into action and better outcomes. I’m here to help others solve problems, big or small through design, in a way that helps people, systems and communities connect.
I have had experience designing for start-up companies, Pelikin, and Rounder Australia. At Rounder, my primary responsibilities were researching market competitors and their target user demographic, as well as re-designing their current e-commerce application. The re-design included designing user on-boarding, the user browsing and searching journey, the checkout process and tracking of purchase based on my research. I developed strong skills in rapid prototyping, user testing, consulting with developers and iteration.
As well as designing for start-ups, my passion for Human-Centred Design has led me to be actively involved in facilitating and mentoring design thinking. I have experience as a UX design Instructional Associate at General Assembly, and am a team alumni mentor for Paddl Co.’s Innovation Games. In these roles, I utilise my design knowledge and expertise to guide individuals and teams through design thinking. I have a passion for sharing knowledge and encouraging others to think big to create strategic solutions.
