About Laura
I consider myself a proactive professional as well as flexible and easy-going, which makes me an avid team player. Responsibility and curiosity are two skills that help me succeed in my purposes.
Before finishing my studies on International Business Economics at University Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona), I had a first contact with the Start-up world in Waynabox, being the intern of the Operations department, which gave me a full understanding of the importance of the efficiency in the processes and the communication between departments and people inside a company.
After this first professional experience, I had a corporate experience in the FMCG multinational Reckitt Benckiser. I worked in the Trade Marketing department, where I had the chance to work with all the brands and its strategy in relation with the leading hypermarket in Spain.
My first graduate role was in the Catalan Tourist Board based in Paris, the organization in charge of marketing internationally Catalonia as a tourism destination. In this experience I improved my networking, digital marketing skills and also discovered my interest in events organization. I wanted to improve my French knowledge so this job allowed me to be immersed in France as well as continue working in marketing and administration. As you can see from my previous job experiences, I am a resourceful professional that is capable of performing a wide-range of roles: from an analytical to a face-to-face role implying contact with potential customers and partners.
