I'm currently pivoting into UX design, currently completing my 10 week UX design immersive at General Assembly. I have design background in interior architecture and menswear product design but most recently have been working in the petroleum industry as an implementation manager. Working on business development projects, service design and implementation. As well as working closely with key stakeholders on the development team to identify problem areas in the business that requires attention and a solution.
I decided to change my career towards UX design late last year after many months of reading and researching the field. Being a solution focused person and someone that loves researched data, UX to me just makes sense. It encompasses the values of empathy and understanding, traits that have always been at my core.
