I love learning from all sources: books, ideas, people, opportunities. I want to explore every nook and cranny, learn about every facet of every idea.
In particular, I have always been fascinated at the way in which information can help us explain and improve our lives. Knowledge is power, however applying that knowledge is even more so. My participation in the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF), a competitive entry Australia-wide STEM summer program, helped me understand that discovering new knowledge through research was important, but how we go about using that knowledge to solve problems is what really matters to me.
I have therefore chosen to study a Commerce degree alongside Diploma of Computing so I can gain a better understanding of how the world operates through businesses and how it is changing and adapting with technology.
