About Eymie
Refugees are driven and entrepreneurial, critical attributes for Australia's economic future. We want to help refugees integrate more quickly by supporting their business enterprises and economic independence and in turn, benefit all Australians.
Thrive is supported by key partners including Westpac, who have provided a $2 million loan facility for Thrive, Allianz, Deloitte Consulting, Gilbert + Tobin, Korn Ferry, KPMG, LOUD, Newgate Communications and Equifax. Thrive is also supported by key donors, refugee and settlement organisations, community leaders and government representatives. Thrive has been registered as a charity with tax deductible status for donations. Thrive is seeking private funding of $1 million annually to help establish the organisation.
Our key objectives are to:
• Provide microfinancing and mentoring support to refugees who aspire to become business owners in Australia
• Fund other activities that help refugees become economically independent and successful business owners, including business support services, education, and professional accreditation
• Highlight and promote the economic contribution of refugees to Australia
