I am Doctrate Student working to reduce Australian land fill. I am using waste material to extract useful material and apply them in optical and electronic devices. I am also exploring the application of such material in Agriculture. I am the first to demonstrate light emitting diode in which emitting material was derived from small strands of human hair that end up in land-fill. Apart from that I am also looking to increase the stability of perovskite material used in solar cells using novel material derived from human hair.
