About Anand
I am an emerging executive leader with a demonstrated history in multiple business sectors such as information technology, manufacturing, automobile, engineering, advertising and media & social entrepreneurship.
An automobile engineer graduate and a management student, I have demonstrated experience in both administrative roles as well as technical and social media/ marketing roles.
I am currently the Manager of Outbak Ventures Pty. Ltd., Brisbane and I handle all the operations of the company. I work with a team of roughly 15 employees as well as private contractors and consultants. My main responsibilities include oversee the daily operations of the company and the various teams involved including web development, digital marketing, graphic design and media, IT and general administration. My job is to understand the client briefing, developing strategies to implement it, identify the key personnel for the job and mobilize and execute the whole operation.
I also handle the HR and Quality management functions and is the key point of contact for the clients, board of directors and the team. My prior experience in social media and advertising and my own artistic talent help me play a key role in web design and development, branding, social media management and content development and graphic design and animation.
During the period I have demonstrated strong expertise in business process management and optimisation, business development strategy & operations and financial management especially with international transactions. I am also considered to be highly confident and skilled in business negotiations as well as in building strong business relationships.
I’ve worked as a social media manager for The LINKS India Pvt. Ltd. and handled major clients such as Federal Bank, JK Tyres, Reliance, JK Tyre motorsports et al. I also handled content creation, story board development and copy writing while I was there. I After the social media management job, I returned to my engineering roots which saw me move into a more administrative role as a pre-Delivery Inspection in Charge (quality control) at Mercedes Benz and handling a team of mechanics and detailers as well as coordinating with the sales and CRM teams. Being a part of quality control, I have developed a fine eye for detail as well as excellent administrative capabilities. This also allowed me to spearhead the implementation of a sound Quality Management System at my current company.
During my short career, I have shown my skills in building strong functional teams, engaging with them deeply and executed business plans aligning with the expectations of the board of directors and stakeholders. I am also extremely knowledgeable in corporate work culture & understands the importance of structured business process for operations & communication.
