About Trang

After completing advanced marketing degree, I continued to pursue degrees in Accounting and International Business to strengthen my skills in budgeting and evaluate a marketing campaign (costs vs gross sales) in an international context. Meanwhile, my enthusiasm in serving community has driven my career trajectory to work related to improving community engagement and sustainability. I worked at the university as a Campus Event Officer for its community program called Mumford’s Pride and Research Assistant within the Infrastructure Services & Development (ISD) department. During this time, some of my significant achievements are as follows:
  • Enhanced social media performance, brand awareness and engagement of Mumford’s Pride program through deploying Facebook, direct email, events, word-of-mouth, resulting by 2.5 times increase Facebook followers and an addition of 135 new volunteers within 7 months.
  • Initiated and executed marketing communication strategy on social media platforms for the University of Tasmania’s Student Sustainability survey, resulting by the growth of 10% and 23% in response rate and completion rate, respectively.
  • Assisted the ISD department with the development of the Student Sustainability Survey Report 2016-2018 that involved performing a quantitative and qualitative analysis of almost 2,000 survey responses.

I am striving for continuous improvement through introspection for continuous learning, willingness to help others solve their problems, and actively participating in training courses, lectures and workshops to expand my horizontal and vertical knowledge.
My specialities:
  • Market research analysis using SPSS, NVivo, Excel and Survey Monkey.
  • Developing an integrated marketing communication strategy.
  • Event and project management.
