About Eloise
I was born and raised in Brisbane Australia, attending St Margaret's AGS which I graduated from in 2014. In high school I enjoyed being heavily involved, partaking in multiple sporting and cultural activities, including being a prefect in Year 12. I was awarded the Caltex All Rounder Award in Senior for my contributions to the school. Throughout High School, I developed an interest in STEM and with the recommendation of my physics teacher, set my sights on engineering.
I started studying engineering and business IS at the University of Queensland in 2015, receiving the Queensland Government's Supporting Women Scholarship. I am expected to graduate at the end of 2020. At UQ I have enjoyed the fullest of university experiences, representing the university on the unigames Hockey team, being the treasurer of the electrical engineering student society, studying abroad in Boston at Northeastern University and being an EAIT faculty ambassador, in which I talk to potential students.
In my off time I enjoy taking film photos, playing hockey for my club team, as well as competing in Royal Lifesaving.
