I am an enthusiastic person with a thirst for knowledge and an iron will to learn. I am currently pursuing an interest in Spanish on Duolingo. I tend to read a lot, and my glasses are proof of my year-long reading (i.e. short-sighted). I love challenges because they provide me with an opportunity to better myself everyday.
Being thrown into the unknown is uncomfortable, but I have learnt to adapt in a contemporary setting. I have experienced working with many people from different backgrounds as a team and how to minimise damages in a conflict. For example, I analyse the other person's perspective objectively and respect that everyone has different opinions during a group discussion. Hence, I eliminate the tendency to have only one correct answer/solution and have a more comprehensive outcomes in a group setting. If things get heated, I will be aware of my own emotions before commenting to level the communication process.
I am bilingual in English and Vietnamese because I was born and raised in Vietnam until I came to Australia with my family when I was 12. I love the multicultural environment Australia has to offer because thrive in diversity. More food choices are always more preferable.
