About Alexander
Hello! I am Alexander, a third year Arts/Law (Honours) student at the University of Queensland. In my Arts degree, I am studying an extended major in political science.
I am currently employed casually as an InfoCentre Officer at the Housing Industry Association (HIA). In the role, my primary responsibility is communicating information about the National Employment Standards (NES) and award wages to employers in the building and construction industry.
Additionally, I am also a member of the Diversity and Wellbeing Subcommittee at the University of Queensland Law Society Inc. (UQLS). I have also been lucky enough to the be offered a volunteering role with the Red Cross - at the start of this month (June 2020)! Once I have completed the necessary training, I will serve as an Emergency Services TeleOutreach Volunteer.
Currently, I am passionate about gaining work, volunteering and collaboration experiences. I take pride in my communication and teamwork skills, which have been developed over the course of my work and academic experiences.
