I will be completing my Bachelor’s in Commerce major in Finance next summer. I believe working for the organizations would provide an excellent opportunity for me to become tangibly involved in the world, where I would be able to apply my knowledge and skill sets into concrete practice.
Working in the field of Commerce is a career option that I have been reading and thinking about for some time. While exploring my passion for statistics during my bachelor’s degree, I have kept up my interest and knowledge of the industry through the business press. I have had the opportunity to online intern at a large organization in the United Kingdom and have spoken to a few members about their own decisions to leave academe and use their skill sets in the private sector. I also have taken part in a virtual internship at your company. In various projects, I analyzed a case about M&A and presented recommendations to consultants. I received positive feedback on my analytical abilities and teamwork skills, and I am confident I can make a significant contribution to your firm. Working in Australia appeals to me because I feel it would allow me to continue to use and develop my strong research, analytical, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
