About Mark
SPF (a subsidiary of e-Centric Innovations) is set up to provide internship program partnering with a number of universities in Melbourne (La Trobe, Victoria, RMIT, Swinburne and Monash), Sydney (UTS) and Perth (Curtin University). We also have a similar program partnering with a number of universities in Malaysia (Taylors University, Multimedia University and Asia Pacific University).
We have particularly worked with the universities to have a 12 month program which we believe provides a full rounded opportunity:
• Provide an opportunity for interns (students) to learn and apply their learning in the real work environment;
• Give each student the necessary practical experience to embed their learning and deliver real tangible outcomes (that is commercial and valuable) throughout a 12 months duration;
• Provide the students will be with "soft skills" and "technical" supervision from SPF supervisors;
• Allow the students to learn in demand technology platforms such as Microsoft Sharepoint, ASP.net, Dynamics (CRM), Java (front-end and back-end), Adobe, Salesforce, etc;
• SPF supervisors will work with university lecturers to ensure that the students' learning objectives are accomplished;
• Allow the interns/students to have Credits attributed to their Work Integrated Learning (WIL) internship as part of their degree course (both undergraduate and post graduate subjects);
• SPF will welcome any additional "in house" training and mentoring that clients can provide on top the program training and mentoring we have in place; and
• SPF can try to select and provide interns/students with the preferred technical experience that better suit our client's needs e.g. Microsoft or Java etc.
