Currently, I am studying my final year of Mechanical Engineering (with honours) degree at RMIT university. I believe my skills and experiences are well suited to a position as an Intern in your organisation. I am volunteering my services to complete the mandatory twelve (12) week academic placement in order to attain my RMIT degree. In addition, on completion of the 12 week work placement, I am available to continue in a part time internship capacity (paid or unpaid) during the 2017 semesters (March – December) due to a reduced University work load.
Since the age of 16, I have worked part-time in Retail customer service jobs. Currently, I’m a part-time employee at Woolworths supermarket in customer facing role and merchandise replenishment role. I understand the importance of effective communications, both written and verbal, and working collaboratively with managers and colleagues. Compliance in Health and Safety standards and effective resolution of Customer complaints are important to the achieving target customer satisfaction & growth.
