Karen is a final year Bachelor of Commerce (Information Systems) student at UNSW who has:
• Worked with the Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) as an associate to assist with projects that consider the perspectives of young people on how to rethink the systems that address complex social, economic and environmental issues • Completed an internship with the University of New South Wales IT department • Developed communication, teamwork and project management skills through participation in various hackathons and inter-university competitions • Demonstrated initiative and active involvement in the society through ongoing volunteering on campus as well as for organizations like the Sydney Children’s Hospital
