I am in my final year of a Bachelor of Commerce at Monash University, majoring in accounting and finance. I am a diligent student who is eager to put my knowledge and skills into practice. Throughout my time at University, I was not only provided with accounting professional skills, but I also had the chance to develop strong computer skills, teamwork, and communication skills. As the nature of my course involved plenty of group projects and presentations, I am proficient in Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Understanding accounting software skills are essential in the industry, I sought to improve and master these specific skills outside my course. After taking a bookkeeping program with Seed training group, I am familiar with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Payroll and other functions of MYOB, Xero, and Reckon. I am also a teamplayer. Throughout University group projects as well as voluntary experience, I learnt to organize group work, set goals and create deadlines, mentor other team members and to deliver my ideas to the group and to the class. I was an intern at Saigon Hanoi Bank in Vietnam where I further developed my interpersonal and relationship-building skills as I communicated with professionals and clients on a daily basis. I am enthusiastic to learn new things and wish to gain new experience at a professional accounting firm.
