My name is Vartika Uniyal and I am currently pursuing Masters of Business Administration(International) at Deakin University, Burwood Campus. I have completed my Bachelors of Commerce from H. R. College of commerce and Economics, Mumbai, India. I have an experience in working in different Companies/Fields back in India and now in Melbourne for six months. While pursuing my bachelors I worked with D-Mart, for a period of six months as a customer service representative. I have developed some skills of liaising with customers and working in a team. With a strong customer service background, I offer expertise in employee relations, benefits administration, and generalist duties. I have made significant contributions in succession planning and workforce engagement as well as ensuring compliance with employment and labour requirements. Secondly, is the famous Tap Bar, in Mumbai itself, where I worked as a Bar Tender. Majorly my duties included serving the customers, billing every counter and managing the orders. Apart from these I had a few minor duties that I had to take care of. Thirdly, I worked with Lifestyle, Mumbai. I was given the duty of Stock management, Store maintenance and Handling customers. After coming to Melbourne for Master’s, I have worked with Desi Dhaba, at Flinders and The Radisson, Flagstaff, Melbourne as a Housekeeper and F&B Attendant for three months. Apart from this I have interned with King’s College London’s India Office for doing the Administrative and Marketing work; I have also worked with an organization called Make a Difference as a team member for the city of Dehradun, India. I was employed in this voluntary work for two years. I have- • Completed the accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course. • Attained certificate for completing the Barista, preparing and serving coffee course. • Have been provided with a qualified RSF Food Safety Handlers certificate.
