About Rebecca
I am currently undertaking a Bachelor of Biomedical Science/Bachelor of Laws where I hope to pursue a career in the field of medical law.
While completing my VCE studies I worked part-time at Holmesglen McDonalds for three years, where my tasks included • Maintain high standards of customer service during a high-volume, stressful, fast-paced environment, • Pre-cook, assemble and create the given food and drink orders including hot beverages, • High problem solving skills regarding issues arising and resolving these accordingly, • Ability to learn and follow newly taught instructions both quickly and correctly, • Assist in store rostering and diary management, • Worked as team member developing high communication skills with coworkers, management and costumers • Fine attention to detail and precision specifically when handling transactions and stock ordering as well as costumer orders ensuring accurate orders, • Interacting and assisting in customer’s enquiries in both face to face contact and on via telephone, • Cashing and balancing tills and registers, • Monitoring, recording and ordering required food stock as well as office and staff necessities, • Engage in cleaning to satisfactory standards and safety checks to accommodate a clean eating and working environment for both costumers and crew, Resolving and settling disputes in both a friendly and productive manor
Coupled with my part time job at McDonalds, I was also given the opportunity to be the Debating School Captain, House Captain and Public Speaking captain. These leadership positions allowed me to • Take charge of these esteemed captaincies by overseeing events and dates, work alongside and negotiate with teachers and staff, coordinate debating and house events, advocate and represent student councils and coach teams by supporting and preparing students. • Allowed me to learn and use software including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer, Data Base and Adobe Photoshop.
Furthermore, I have also had the privilege to undergo casual work experience placements at Cabrni Hospital Malvern where my tasks included data entry and administration of patient results and filing. This experience has highlighted the importance of costumer privacy and confidentiality as well as taught me necessary skills in time management as well as refining my computer skills. Thank you for considering me and I hope to hear from you soon.
