About sarath
I have always been a creative person and I am fascinated by the opportunities available for designing products that can improve people’s lives. I deeply cherish my first day with my new bike that my dad gifted me and as days passed I had been fascinated by the way things worked, from dismantling and maintaining of my own bike. By this the thirst for engineering and design grew day by day and However, after completing my engineering being my logical carrer choice .I wanted to learn courses related to industrial design. This lead me to the master’s program.
I completed my Secondary and Higher secondary education from “Kendriya Vidyalaya Ottapalam”, India. Though I was interested in Mathematics, Chemistry was my favorite subject. While I was in 11th standard, I did a project on “Converting Plastic Wastes into Fuel”. I wanted this idea to be converted into reality, so I took engineering.
I did my engineering (Bachelor Degree) at “Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) which is affiliated to Calicut University, which provides world-class technical education and training in the fields of Science, Engineering, Technology and Management to meritorious students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The vision of Ahalia Group is achieving dynamic equilibrium with its social and ecological environment and providing academic, research, consultancy and outreach programs to maintaining that intangible quality called the Ahalia spirit.
My Final year project was on Design and Manufacture of fixture for Y-Type very high pressure drop (VHD) valve body Which to study the problem in machining of Y- type valve body and design a new Fixture which could improve the machine quality and reduce the rejection. ‘Y’ type pressure control valves are used in the controlling pressure of hot pressurized water or steam coming out from the nuclear reactor power plants, before it is passed onto turbine of the generator. The design of fixture parts was done using AUTODESK INVENTOR software and later developed using CATIA. My mini project was “Low cost Magneto Rheological (MR) Fluid Clutch System”. The main objective of this project was to develop an artificial magneto rheological fluid by using the commonly available ingredients and analyzing its torque transmission capacity in a clutch system.
Published a paper titled “Low cost MR fluid clutch system” in IJARTET (International Journal of Advanced Research Trends in Engineering and Technology). I Was one among in the list of a few students who were lucky to be selected for “Ahalia School Summer internship program” Presented a project titled “Obstacle Detection and reorientation of Hover Craft “in (KSCSTE) Kerala State Council for Science, Technology & Environment.(2014). I Was an active member of Logo design/Arts team at college, which was responsible for creating logs and other creative activities in campus. I Participated in Jawaharlal Nehru national level Science exhibition in the year 2011 at Kendriya Vidyalaya Avadi, Chennai. The project was on the topic “Converting plastic waste into fuel”.Active participant in the “Bharath scout and guides”. It is the national Scouting andGuiding Association of India.
I have underwent an internship at Ahalya, we visited several plants such as Seri culture plant, automobile maintenance plant, HVAC plant, Sewage water treatment plant, pharmaceutical plant, Ayurveda medicinal plants. We got some practical knowledgeof how thing where going. And which helped me understand a professional Environment.
