About Tarun
I am currently pursuing my Masters of Strategic Supply Chain Management from the University of Technology Sydney. As a person who loves helping people, I am looking to gain some experience. I have worked at previous organisations which involved me to interact with clients,collaborate with my peers, analyze problems and deliver results.
I have good communication, problem solving skills and helping nature. To be able to work with multiple people across many sections, gives me a chance to learn and contribute my best to such a huge event.
After completing my Bachelors in Engineering, I was employed for a period of two years at Ernst & Young Global. I was posted as Associate consultant - SAP. It required me to be a part of a team which interacted with a lot of clients, receive and understand requirements with regard to implementing SAP into their business and further go on to develop and service such objects for them. This required me to collaborate with my team and continuously communicate about the running deleopments. Analyzing, troubleshooting, openness to inputs from various sources were some of the skills acquired during this valuable experience. Being a part of this team also required me to act with professional ethics and deliver results simultaneously.
In addition to that, during my bachelor’s degree I have worked as an intern at Al-Tayer Motors, Dubai (luxury car dealer and service centre for brands such as Ferrari, Lincoln, Jaguar and Maserati). I was a marketing and a customer service trainee at Al-Tayer motors. The organization gave me an insight on how it feels to be a part of a large company where my colleagues relied on my work’s result. I demonstrated strong communication skills and built an excellent rapport with my internal and external clients. Apart from these, I have also worked as a part time sales executive in an electronics appliance store during my vacation. This involved me engaging with customers and challenged my customer handling abilities, communication skills and act with honesty in a professional environment. In addition to all the above, I love travelling. I create videos to share my travel experiences on youtube.
