About LUIS
Among Luis Felipe’s humanist education there are diverse courses in History of Art, Opera and Classical Greece, likewise he has studied in Italy, Australia, Mexico, Spain, and the USA. In 2009 he completed his undergraduate studies in Media Communications with a major in Cinema by the Universidad Iberoamericana and in 2011, he finished his Master’s degree in Humanities and Culture at the Helenic Cultural Institute. That same year along with producer Valeria Estefan, he founded Polytropos, a boutique film house of culture and communication (www.polytroposac.com).
As a cultural producer, Luis Felipe has filmed Resilience for a Note. The Documentary of the Big Band Jazz de México (2012), TV series Nota Dominante (2014), and several musical videos for the Mexican Jazz ecology. He had worked in various companies such as Once Tv, Publicis, Genoma Lab, and Olabuenaga-Chemistri, where he was responsible for the official international campaign “Mexico: live it to believe it”. In 2015, he was awarded with the FONCA-CONACYT national scholarship for studies abroad in the Cultural Management discipline. This year (2017) Luis Felipe obtained his second Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management at the University of Melbourne and was selected in the Global Cultural Fellowship 2017 organised by the IICR (Institute for International Cultural Relations) of the University of Edinburgh.
