My name is Wiaa and am currently in my third year of law school, I am an active, vibrant and motivated individual. It is my intention to harness this platform as a mean of furthering my personal and professional development. I hope to gain professional experience in a firm where i will be mentored and guided as well as allowed to demonstrate my capabilities to their fullest extent. I am accepting of all opportunities whether it is with a big or smaller team, however I prefer a personal trainee ship as i believe it will allow me to further my skills in the most efficient manner.
I am also experienced in sales and have the capability to convey a message in the most efficient manner and have dealt with all types of individuals from different socio-economic backgrounds. My experience at Oxford Clothing Store ( where I currently work) has allowed me to gain vital experience which i believe will translate into the legal industry. Namely, I have been trained in the handling of customer complaints and day to day operations of the store being employed as an assistant manager. I have also been trained in the handling of cash and the basic accounting skills in a practical setting. I believe these would translate well in a firm which practices financial law as couple with my theoretical legal knowledge, I would be challenged to further engage myself and given an opportunity to prove my capability and value to a firm.
Academically, I have completed Units such as Contract Law, Torts, Criminal Law, Legal Research Methods, Real Property Law, Advocacy and Communication and others. I Have done reasonably well in most subjects with a few distinctions and have maintained a credit average.
