About Jessica
My professional and academic experiences have provided me with a skill set which I believe will allow me to contribute strongly to Paddl. While working in the Commercial Department at Football Federation Australia (FFA), I was actively involved in product sponsorship management, including rights compliance, partner activations, match day events, and commercial windows. In my role as a Pharmacy Assistant, I have developed outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to provide product/medication advice to members of the public whilst maintaining a high- standard of customer service. This complements my ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a corporate environment. I am a highly-organised individual, and take pride in my ability to juggle part-time employment, personal hobbies and internships, whilst maintaining a Distinction average at university. I pay great attention to detail in all I do, whether that be noting specific information, proofreading my writing, or formatting presentations. In addition to this, I enjoy working in teams and collaborating with a variety of personalities, across groups of various sizes.
I also possess leadership and creative capabilities which complement the skill set mentioned above, and highlight my potential as a successful Intern. As a Pharmacy Assistant, I am regularly required to supervise junior staff for entire shifts, and have held responsibility for delegating work, monitoring task completion, dealing with any customer complaints, as well as managing store opening/closing procedures. I also regularly demonstrate creativity in my work, and assisted the Community Development Department at FFA to create web and social media content for the new naming rights partner of the MiniRoos grassroots program; ALDI.
I consider myself a committed, well-rounded individual with the determination, skills and temperament necessary to become a successful intern with Paddl. I am eager to learn and build my skills and knowledge in an exciting work environment.
