I work on the interface of theoretical & experimental particle physics, specifically studying the strong nuclear force, the force that holds nuclei together, and indeed protons themselves together. More accurately, I am part of a team that develops a Monte Carlo event generator, a class of computer programs that simulate high-energy particle collisions (such as the ones that occur at the LHC in Geneva).
