About Con
I am a highly ambitious and driven civil engineering student with an interest in built sustainability. I seek a challenging graduate role with a company active on a nationwide stage and is involved in massive and complex infrastructure. I am a hardworking individual who can work and communicate effectively within a team developed through working within numerous volunteering position and extra-curricular activities. I pride myself as an individual who is adaptable to new environment demonstrated through the exchange opportunity while maintaining academic success and extra-curricular drive.
I am motivated by my learning and I hope to continue it within the working stage and also enhance my skill as an engineers. My careers goals include acting as a manager, overseeing a large project and making use of everything I have learned prior to the promotion.
I believe that my previous endeavours have properly developed key qualities important in the workplace and fuelled my continued passion learn regardless of career stage. My strength includes interpersonal skill and adaptability to situation. These are developed through a numerous employment, extra-curricular and volunteering endeavours. For example, my interpersonal skills are tested when working as a student mentor, requiring a tailored response as oppose to working in a professional retail with Doncare Op Shop but most importantly professionally and effectively.
This is further stressed within the School Outreach Program where my team-working traits are tested on my team and the students. By emphasising team-cooperation and coordination sessions conducted with distinction.
Adaptability to foreign and different environment is displayed during my exchange to Vancouver whereby I showed extra-curricular drive, continued academic success and commitment to personal and social responsibilities. In addition, my colourful upbringing by relocating from Brunei to Australia, in addition to aiding my adaptability trait and continued acumen, also exposed myself to cultural variety and range, promoting my capability to work with teammate from different background and culture.
