Hi, I'm Mohit Rangholiya and I am really, really passionate about data science.
I’m a recent Information Technology, Data analytics graduate at Deakin university, as well as I have recently completed my internship at Freelancing Hub. Right now the most important thing for me is to up-skill as fast as I can in order to play a significant role in the emerging adoption of analytics in real world. In class we are taught how to apply very methodical tools to solve business issues, but when I got out into the industry through both my internship and from meeting people in the wider industry I realized quite quickly that real life data problems are far more complex and involved than they appear. Instead of simply getting the data, crunching the numbers and then handing down a result I need to answer the bigger questions. Is the data accurate? Are the assumptions of the model aligned with the business? Will the results of our analysis answer the broader question that is being asked, or simply churn out methodically correct yet functionally useless analysis?
My career goal is to bridge the gap between those who collect the data, those who crunch the numbers, and those who make decisions. I believe my education and diverse life experiences are putting me in good stead to achieve this goal.
