I am a postgraduate student at the University of Melbourne studying computer science. My current degree involves both coursework and a major thesis focusing more on theoretical computer science and algorithms. Subjects I have took besides programming include data analysis, statistical machine learning and artificial intelligence. My undergraduate degree was also at the University of Melbourne (Bachelor of Science). During my undergraduate studies, I was exposed to many areas of subjects including mathematics, physics, engineering (civil and mechanics) and economics. I have worked in the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) while doing my undergraduate degree. My job description primarily included server software management and providing administrative services for web applications.
