I am finishing my 3rd year of Mechanical Engineering in two weeks, and i still have two semesters left to graduate.
Throughout my studies I have been working as a supervisor in charge at Food Works supermarket , I have gained a lot of communication skills dealing with a variety people. This has developed my leadership skills and time organization to meet tight deadlines. I have also gained some Engineering Industry Experience by taking an engineering training at AMIANTIT Qatar, Fibre Glass Pipe Manufacturer, during summer break (2016-2017), where I gained an extensive knowledge about the production process as well as the quality control department role where we performed different mechanical and chemical tests for the manufactured pipe and the raw materials to meet the international standard specification. I also worked for The paper cup Company (Tullamarine) in 2016 (Winter break), where I gained an extensive knowledge about the production process of Paper cups and I had to deal with highly automated paper cup machines to ensure the effectiveness of manufacturing process. In this previous role, I demonstrated my ability to work in a fast-faced environment and at the same time exhibit effective communication skills.
I received 2 scholarships, one from Swinburne and one from La Trobe university as i have completed my first year there, i also received an achievement award from Swinburne recently.
