Other than the long awaited 21st FIFA World Cup, November 2018 is the time when I officially get the title of Electrical Engineer from Engineers Australia. It is an ongoing interesting journey worth sharing.
The first leg of my journey concluded in December 2015 with an Engineering Technologist degree from The University of Melbourne. Arduino Temperature Controller, the first unsupervised team based large-scale project has graded a success. Furthermore, electives in Mechincal, Civil, and Software Engineering provided the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
The second and final leg started in July 2016 in RMIT, converging towards specializations in Power Systems, Industrial Automation, and Electrical Building Design. Currently, I'm leading a year-long Team Project to implement Smart Card Electricity Payment System to benefit Airbnb hosts and guests. An additional year-long Individual Project is on the way.
Is there more to me apart from Engineering? Yes. I have been tutoring and inspiring students of various levels since 2012. Recently, I became a Student Representative for the RMIT Electrical Engineering Program, effectively bridging students and faculty communications. Lastly, during my UniMelb days as IT Officer for a UMSU affiliated club, I administered Facebook Pages, designed and monitored websites to reach out to the community.
