About Albert
Being a second-year student at the University of Melbourne, I have have taken subjects regarding software modelling and design, algorithms and data structures, and team-based mobile app and game development. In addition to my studies, I have been the treasurer of the Melbourne University Aerospace and Robotics society for the past year.
In my spare time, enjoy participating in hackathons to gain more practical in teamwork and software development than my subjects at university provide. Over the past year my teams have managed to accomplish: - Runners up at the Facebook Melbourne Regional Hackathon 2017 - Third place in the Jane Street Electronic Trading Challenge at University of Melbourne 2017 - Runners up for "Best Pitch" at Quantify - The University Datathon at Monash University 2017
I am comfortable with developing in C#, Java and C, with some experience in Haskell, Python, MySQL and Matlab. I have also recently started learning about data processing and analysis in Python.
Outside of software development and computer science, my interests include playing volleyball, the keyboard, the ukulele, portrait sketching, cooking and jogging.
