Bachelor of Environments (Civil Systems)
The University of Melbourne graduating in December 2017 with the intention to do Masters of Civil Engineering with Business in 2018
I have both a theoretical and physical understanding of the principles and processes of engineering design, construction and maintenance processes in relation to buildings including houses, apartment complexes and industrial properties through university programs and leadership positions in construction subjects. I have completed and performed well in a system modelling and design subject involving the design and conceptual analysis of a dam proposal in Western Tasmania and have knowledge of ground water seepage and drainage process in relation to reservoir engineering. I do have construction site experience and can liaise with subcontractors and builders.
I have the ability to communicate and converse with a wide variety of people including trades and have knowledge of the construction and engineering industry. I have worked at a council previously and have worked in the building department. I have on site experience including residential and commercial properties.
I have a proven academic background and have an excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in written format. I am personable and can relate to others well. I am compassionate and kind natured.
I place a high value on being time efficient and punctual. Prioritising tasks and completing them to the best of my ability is a characteristic I possess. I can provide examples in terms of university assessment deadlines and attending sporting and extra curricula events.
I am computer literate and conversant with MS Office suite and relevant engineering software packages including MATLAB, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, ArcMap and Geostudio. I have an advanced knowledge in all software listed and willing and a fast learner of new software
