About David

Unlike most Professional Summaries, since Nyan Min Htay really hates writing from the standpoint of the third person, he will write his LinkedIn summary from the perspective of the first person right after this full stop. Since a first-year undergraduate student, I have got chances in my University studies to uncover the things, which I love more than most:
  1. Identifying problems
  2. Ideating and developing tailored solutions through the lens of an entrepreneur
  3. Evaluating whether the implemented solutions solve causes or only symptoms of diagnosed problems

As I have a great passion for critically identifying problems and developing relevant solutions, which are specifically designed to solve deep-rooted, major causes of identified problems, I have got involved in some Community-Placement Programs in order to do what I love and doing such practices as thinking outside the box, analysing a problem from different perspectives and questioning assumptions and the unquestionable.
Personally speaking, I am a young, motivated and passionate individual with a strong desire to apply knowledge, expertise and theoretical concepts that I have learned and gained at the University back to real-life practices in the areas of entrepreneurship, marketing and project management. So, I had participated in working on some social-venture projects in and out of Australia, such as Broken Hills, Cambodia and Uganda respectively. The passion behind joining these practical and challenging Social Impact projects is create the greatest good, which are sustainable, for the greater number of people in remote and disadvantaged communities, especially in developing nations.
In light of understanding that I may not be able to alleviate poverty and solve all social issues on the global scale, I have a strong will to fill a gap where needed and give a hand to those people who are in need to be a true global citizen, seeing the world as how it could be a better place rather than as how it is.
