I'm an international student, driven by curiosity! Human biology caught my interest around Year 9 and once I moved to Australia, research poked my will to discover and answer questions. I love travelling, and I believe in the power of education, which lead me to volunteer as a teacher in a public hospital in São Paulo, where I translated three children books about cancer and the treatment process. Since I've decided to study biomedical science I've taken many opportunities to learn more about a career in research and the human body. More specifically, relating to neuroscience, which fascinates me! Lastly, I am a great team member, who believes that working together with people with different strengths is the best way to a solution. I've learnt this through different volunteering and leadership positions, as well as working part-time in hospitality.
