About Naina

I am currently in my final year of a Master of International Business degree at La Trobe University and am very interested to support in this role. I worked as a Project officer and focal person of the project between the company and donor agent such as Fida International(Finland) and Australian Himalayan foundation(Sydney) dealing with all the correspondences and communication concerning project funding’s, reports, activities that is being carried. I have an ability to communicate with a diverse range of people. In the past, I have much to offer in the way of diversity of experience in that I have worked in a call centre (voice calling) for British Gas Supplier and Dell Customer service. I have an understanding of phone etiquettes. Further, writing thanking letter to donors who have funded and community leaders support for disadvantage women and children has always been part of the project. With recent work and volunteer experience, I have developed more confidence and interpersonal skills that are well matched for this position. I enjoyed my experience as an International Host at both the Orientation in February and October at La Trobe University. Through this volunteering role, I had an opportunity to interact with new students coming from diverse culture backgrounds and assisted them with various students queries, both face to face and on an online setting. Working with La Trobe staff in organising events at University has also been a learning experience and an opportunity to contribute toward University life. Moreover, while doing a casual job at various restaurants, production worker at factory, I have gained experience in customer service, attention to details and punctuality. As a project Officer, I excelled in problem solving, delivering customer service while communicating with a diverse range of clientele which included customers, donors and team members. During my tenure at NGO’s work I had an opportunity to communicate and build networks with many high-level leaders and coordinate various meetings/workshops with stakeholders that helped me to develop my interpersonal skills at professional levels. I also organised various training support programs to youth and communities and fundraising events which was highly successful. My experiences have developed both my written communication, writing reports, dealing with different level of people and understanding correspondence requirements.
I also have well developed analytical skills, customer service and recording data reports in meeting deadlines. Moreover, I have developed excellent management and communication skills with high level of attention to details in delivering services to clients, students or customers.
